A double herm form connecting Greek sculptural language with contemporary materials and the river landscape of Dendermonde, where the Dender flows into the Scheldt. Expanded polystyrene, silicone, and fragmented surfaces interrupt the monumentality usually associated with the herm. The inscription reveals itself only while moving around the sculpture, making bodily movement part of its reading.
